Vegetables have vitamins and minerals, iron and carbohydrates. They are necessity for health. Vegetables can be eaten both raw and cooked. Vegetables are - leaves, flowers, seeds, fruits, stems and roots.

Most of the vegetables have outer skin and seeds inside. Some of the vegetables skins are hard to eat. Some of the vegetables seeds are not eaten. Root and stem vegetables do not have seeds. Green vegetablesare rich in iron and carbohydrates.
Pumpkin is a big vegetable. In some places beet is used to make sugar.
